QLD: Former strip club owner menaces man and woman: court

BRISBANE, Feb 26 AAP - A Brisbane strip club owner turned farmer has been released
on a good behaviour order after using a mobile phone to threaten two people.
Brisbane District Court was told today Jan Rene Alfons De Smet sent about 60 menacing
text messages to a male complainant in June 2005.
De Smet, 43, pleaded guilty to two counts of using a carriage service to menace, harass
or cause offence.
