Qld: Third stabbing incident in a week

A 42 year old man's in a critical condition in a Brisbane hospital after a stabbing
at a camping ground north of the city.

Queensland police have charged a 23-year-old from the suburb of Kallangur with grievous
bodily harm following the incident at Kauri Creek .. near Gympie.

The 23-year-old's been remanded in custody to appear in the Hervey Bay Magistrates
Court on Friday charged with grievous bodily harm.

The incident follows the stabbing of two boys on the Victoria Bridge in central Brisbane
on Tuesday night .. and a stabbing in the nightclub district of Fortitude Valley around
5am (AEST) on Sunday.
