An accountant who purchased housing from City Councilman Brian Sanvidge and then allegedly failed to answer code violations was arraigned Friday.
Richard A. O'Connor, 39, who gave his address as 2009 Western Ave., Albany, was arrested on a bench warrant late Thursday and arraigned before City Judge Patrick McGrath.
O'Connor posted $500 bail and was released from jail.
O'Connor was ordered to appear in court last November on housing- code violations at five buildings he bought from Sanvidge. They are located at 787 Fourth Ave., 528 Fifth Ave., 549 First St., 3 St. Joseph's St. and 39 Eighth St.
