NSW: Derailment closes section of northern line
SYDNEY, Jan 16 AAP - Rail services to northern New South Wales and Queensland, disrupted
after a freight train derailed last night, should return to normal early tomorrow.
A Rail Infrastructure Corporation spokesman said a National Rail freight train derailed
about 6pm yesterday at a level crossing at Martins Creek, near Maitland in the Hunter
Valley.
